Festivals are incomplete without a sweet and i make them in all festivals no matter what religion it is. Since i have a sweet tooth need to say and here comes an easy Dates/Khajur kheer.

Preparation time: 5 mins
Cooking time: 15 mins
Ingredients:
- Dates-15
- Milk -2 cup
- Sugar-3 to 4 tsp( adjust)
- Cardamon powder-1\2 tsp
- Ghee-2 tsp
- Cashew-few
Method:
1.Boil the milk and keep ready.Deseed the dates and chop them.Reserve some for sauteing in ghee.
2.Take the remaining in a boil with 1\2 cup water cook till mushy.Then i cooled a bit ground some to fine paste.
3.Add milk,ground paste and cardamon powder and cook.check for sweet and add sugar only if needed.when it becomes little thick switch off.
4.Fry cashew and reserved dates and add to it.
Healthy dates kheer is ready.
Note:
1.You can even soak the dates in warm milk ,grind to coarse paste and make it.
