I love to make different rice variety and this one such i made when i saw it here.This was our last Sunday lunch which we had it with chicken absolutely yummy.This can also be packed for lunch box.

Ingredients:
- Chick peas- 1cup
- Basmathi rice-1 cup
- Ghee- 1 tbsp
- oil-2 tsp
- Cinnamon-1 inch
- cardamon-2
- cloves-4
- Onion-1 big,sliced
- Tomato-1,chopped
- Mint juice-1 tbsp(i used my frozen mint juice which i preserved from the leaves)
- Turmeric powder-1\2 tsp
- Salt to taste.

1.Soak chickpeas over night in water.Next drain water and pressure cook it with freshwater and little salt.Drain excess water and keep ready.
2.Wash the rice well ans soak in water for 30 mins.
3.Heat ghee+ oil in thick bottom pan.Add in all whole spices followed by onion and saute till it becomes translucent.
4.Then add in mint,tomato and turmeric powder and mix well.Drain water from the rice and add it here and fry for few minutes. then add in two cup water , salt and cover it to cook well.
Serve with any spicy side dish or as such.
