When one thinks of chat, the green and sweet chutney comes to our mind first,as we all prefer to have the chat with it alone. Its very easy to make, make it refrigerate it and use when needed. For longer shelf life keep it in the freezer.

Walnut Coconut Chutney/Dip | Recipe with Walnut

Walnut ( Karat/akhrot  ) chutney/dip is one of the recipe which I got when browsing.I made it a day for dosa and had some dip left over,since I am alone in afternoon for lunch I just mixed it with rice ,to say the truth it tasted awesome with rice rather than in morning.Got it from here and made slight changes.

Almond/Badam Chutney may be new to many as to me, while browsing I saw many people make this dip/chutney.I too decided to try it.First day I tried it in a different way with red chillies and without tempering but today morning I tried it in another way and it was an awesome combination for dosa,my kids love it a lot.

Ragi Dosa & Raisins Chutney | Healthy Breakfast | Recipe with Ragi/Finger millet




When coming to breakfast one has to intake  good & healthy of it to  start a day.I usually replace white rice with other cereals ,you can see variety of dosa like that in my blog,pearlmillet,horse gram,oats,thinnai.Do try to replace white rice with some other gluten free,less fat one.Coming to this recipe quite easy to make,if u prefer u can use without fermentation also,here I have used fermentated one.Raisins as you know has more health benfits,my kids if u add it in any food they would take out,but in this chutney/dip method they like it most,try to give children raisins.I  learnt that it prevent cancer cell formation,so use it.

Today i came with a simple chutney. As i have  already  posted one mint coriander chutney this is my second version.I have added onion & tomato into it.Give a try, it was very tasty can be had with rice,idli,dosa.etc.

Red chutney(Coconut) | Side Dish for Idli/ Dosa


This is a chutney which is so versatile that can be served  for idli/dosai,or even for appam and idiyappam.Its very easy to make and just take few minutes.You can find this chutney in my kitchen very often since it suits to all south indian breakfast recipe.I usually make it wihtout tamarind but if you want a tangy taste in your chutney then add a very small piece. Also adding pottukadalai is optional. Both the version with and without it will be tasty.

Tomato- Onion chutney



Simple , easy and quite onion tomato chutney that goes well with dosa, idli, adai, paniyaram and even chapathi. Each one has their own version of making it.It quite simple just sauteeing and grinding it finely. You can use any dal variety like urad dal, channa dal or toor dal.
