Mangoes are in season and I started shopping for it every week but the taste was not that good.Due to this my kids refuse having it as such .So when I bought them for the first time this season its only me who had to eat them all,But when I purchased it again I already set my mind to make some different recipe with it.
This is one recipe I made with the second batch, after blending it in my mixer I made mango shake with the leftover in the blender. My son refused to have it but he thoroughly enjoy having this popsicle.I wonder how is it both are the same but he loves this popsicle but not the shake.Kids are kids we can't get their thinking about a particular food.Anyway, I'm happy that he had some mangoes.
Preparation time; under 5 mins
Ingredients:
- Manago pulp- from 2 mangoes
- sugar- 4 to 5 tsp ( adjust)
- Thick yogurt- 1\2 cup
Method:
1.Clean the mangoes, peel and cut into pieces.
2.To a blender/mixer add in mango pieces, sugar and yogurt.Blend it to fine paste.
3.Pour into popsicle mould and freeze it for 3-4 hours.
Enjoy the yummy mango popsicle.
Note:
1.Adjust sugar according to the sweetness of the mango.
2.If you don't have popsicle mould, pour into any cup/disposable cup, insert a stick and freeze it.
Yum yum. Looks so good
