Hope everyone had a fun filled Diwali and wishes for the light to glow in your life each day.Coming to the recipe its barley dosa. Recent cereal which i am doing experiment is this,you can check the barley pongal which i made through it.This barley had loaded nutrients mainly its a high source of fibre.Apart from porridge try different way to use it.
Ingredients:
- Barley-1 cup
- Par boiled rice-1 cup
- Urad dal-1\3 to 1\2 cup
- Salt to taste
- Oil-to drizzle on the layer(while making)
Method:
1.Clean rice,urad dal and barley and soak in water for 2 hrs.
2.Grind them to a fine paste in mixer/grinder using water.( i used my mixer).
3.Add salt and let it ferment for 6-8hrs.
4.Heat a dosa tawa/griddle pour a ladle of the batter and spread it out to thin crepes.
Drizzle oil on the sides.
5.When cooked on one side flip on the other side and cook.
Serve hot with your favourite chutney.
