I love ada pradhaman and its my favourite.For my daughter's birthday i made this payasam and just love it.I enjoyed it the next day too.Try this easy one and enjoy ,i made it with the readymade ada.Want to make it at home will try next time.
Ingredients:
Ada-1\2 cup
jaggery-3\4 cup
thick Coconut milk- 1 cup
Thin coconut milk-1 cup
Ghee-1 tbsp
cashew-2 tsp
cardamon powder-1\4 tsp
coconut bits-1 tbsp( i didn't use here)
Method:
1.Soak the ada in a cup of hot water(this for easy cooking) skip it if using homemade ada.
2.I have used ready made coconut milk if using fresh one extract juice and keep ready.Boil the jaggery in a cup of water till it dissolve.filter the impurities.
3.In a heavy bottom pan add soaked ada with thin coconut milk and jaggery syrup.allow it to cook well.
4.when the ada is almost cooked pour thick coconut milk and cook for just few minute.(keep in low flame and careful as it may curdle).
5.Switch off add cardamon powder and ghee roasted cashew and coconut bits(if using).
Tasty ada pradhaman is ready.
