Onion Uttappam



Onion uttappam

I rarely make uthappam because my kids  love crispy dosas only,they always get bored eating the same foods they need varieties and new  food everyday.I made this for breakfast and it taste good.







Ingredients:

  • Idli/dosa batter
  • Onion
  • Gingelly oil

Method:

1.Cut onions into small pieces.Keep ready everything podi ,oil and onions.

2.Heat the dosa tawa,pour idli batter on it,spread the cut onions on it,sprinkle some Idli podi over it,don't spread the batter.Spread some oil around it.



3.When cooked on one side turn over and cook the other side.

Serve hot with your favourite chutney.




We had it with onion-tomato chutney,it was awesome.
