Today i come with a very simple recipe,a side dish for rice,most of u know it,yet i add it to my blog.The things needed are very little and it can be done within 5 min.
Ingredients:
1.Beetroot-3
2.Onion- 1 big
3.Green chillies- 2
4.Salt to taste
5.Oil to temper
6.Mustard
7.Turmeric powder- a pinch
Method:
1.Peel the skin of beetroot,clean and grate it.
2.Cut onion and chillies into small pieces.
3.Heat oil in a kadai,pop out mustard,onion and chilli and saute for a while.
4.Then add grated beetroot,pinch t.powder,salt and saute for some time.
5.Delicious and healthy kootu ready.
Serve with hot steamed rice.
Delicious beet root poriyal i love them.
