We all love meal maker/ soya chunks curry /masala,fry,etc.I make them quite often.Mostly i make them without coconut for the facebook event of divya's i tried her version with coconut.

Ingredients:
- Meal maker/soya chunk-100 gms( i used small variety)
- Onion-1 big,chopped
- tomato-1 big,sliced
- green chilly-1
- Red chilly powder-1 tsp
- turmeric powder-1\4 tsp
- coriander powder-1\2 tsp
- salt- to taste
- Oil-2 tbsp
To grind:
- Grated coconut-1\3 cup
- ginger-a small piece
- garlic flakes-5
- clove-2
- cardamon-2
- cinnamon-small piece
- bay leaf-1
- fennel seeds-1\4 tsp
- cumin seeds-1\4 tsp
Method:
1.soak soya chunks in hot water.It will soon becomes soft.When it ha doubled in volume squeeze excess water from it.Fill in water and squeeze,do this for 4-5 times to eliminate the smell the chunks have.
2.Grind all the ingredients under "to grind" to fine paste.Cut onion and tomato.
3.Heat oil in cooker,add onion and green chilly saute for a while then add tomato saute till it becomes mushy.Then add the drained and squeezed soya chunks and mix well.
4.Add in all dry powders,salt,coconut paste mix well till everything combines well.Pour 1 to 2 cups of water and pressure cook for 3-4 whistle.
5.After the pressure is released open and check if its very thin cook for a while and make it semi thick.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
Note:
1.Clean the meal maker many times till the foamy like substance stop coming out while squeezing.Its a must else it will have some smell.
