After blogging i have started to try many new recipes and i just love making it,my daughter love eating it .This kofta can be eaten just like tea/coffee time snack else dunked in gravy and can be served as side dish.Got this recipe here and made slight changes.

Serves-3
Ingredients:
For kofta:
- Bottle gourd/Lauki-1 medium sized
- Gram flour-1\4 cup
- Maida-1\4 cup
- Fennel seeds-1\4 tsp
- Salt to taste
- oil to fry
For grinding:
- Onion-1
- Tomato-2,medium sized
- Green chilly-1
- Ginger-1 inch
- Garlic-6-8 pods
- Cashew-few
For gravy:
- oil- 3 tsp
- Cumin/jeera seeds-1\2 tsp
- Red chilly powder-1 tsp
- Coriander powder-1 tsp
- Turmeric powder-1\4 tsp
- Garam masala-1\2 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
- Coriander/cilantro leaves- to garnish
Method:
1.Clean the bottle gourd ,peel it and grate it.Squeeze the excess water,reserve it.
2.Add everything in the ingredients under" for kofta" to it ,mix it and form balls.
3.Heat oil and deep fry these balls.Drain excess oil.
4.Make a fine paste with all the items in " for grinding" in a mixer.
5.Heat oil and add cumin seeds,followed by the ground masala and allow it to cook well.Add a cup of water to it.
6.When the raw smell goes add in dry powders and the reserved water .Lastly add the fried balls ,switch off.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with roti/naan.
