In basundi, the sweetened milk is thickened and served with nuts. But here in rabri, it is thickened by scrapping the sides of the pan and the end product may look little grainy. Simple lentils thogayal is a easy dip which can be mixed with hot steaming rice along with ghee. One can make this dip with coconut also. But here I didn't use any coconut. Yesterday when I was lazy to make any kuzhambu for rice I made this thogayal , mixed up with rice and had my lunch. It was super tasty and easy to make.
