Kalakand | Easy Kalakand Recipe | Festive Sweet recipe

Happy Diwali , lets this festival of light brings you prosperity and good health. No festival is complete without a sweet so let me share with you a simple dessert which can be prepared in a jiffy.With just a few ingredients you can make this easy sweet for this festival.



Let us see how to make this easy sweet with just paneer and condensed milk.For flavors, i have added cardamon powder but can try other flavoring agents also.If you prefer perfect edges you need to set it in refrigerator for few hours .Here I have used homemade paneer but store bought one can also be used.

Ingredients:


  • Condensed milk- 1 cup
  • cottage cheese/paneer- 3\4 cup
  • milk powder- 2 tsp
  • cardamon powder- 1\2 tsp
  • pistachio nuts -few


Method

1.In  a non stick pan add in creumbled paneer, condensed milk and milk powder.Mix.

2.Heat it in low flame and keep stirring continuously.Keep a greased plate ready lined with butter paper or foil.

3.Add in cardamom powder and keep stirring.When it leaves the sided of the pan transfer to the lined plate.Press nut when it is still hot.

4.Kee in the  refrigerator for some time, cut into pieces and serve.

note :

1.If using store bought paneer crumble well and just grind a second in mxer.
