This recipe finds a place in almost all festival and its quite easy to make .First i too thought its very difficult to make it but after trying it out, and with the result, my thinking is totally wrong.Try this easy murukku.

Ingredients:
- Rice flour- 1 cup
- Urad dal flour -1\2 cup
- Sesame seeds- 1&1\2 tsp( added white color)
- Melted butter/oil- 2 to 3 tbsp
- Salt- to taste
- Hing powder-1\2 tsp
- Water -as needed
- Oil for deep frying
Method:
1.Dry roast urad dal flour without changing it color.
2.In a mixing bowl all both flour,sesame seeds,butter,salt and mix first.Add water little by little to form a soft non sticky dough without cracks.
3.Heat oil for frying.Fill the murukku presser with the dough and press it in shape of murukku on some greased laddles ,then drop them on the hot oil.
4.Deep fry them well on medium flame till the hissing sound stops.
5.Drain them on a paper towel, cool and store.
Note:
1.You can add black sesame seeds too.
2.Cover the dough to avoid it from drying.
3. Instead of urad dal you can use potukadali/chutney dal powder also.
