This is one of the soft cookies which just melts in your mouth.Two days before while watching Podhigai channel cooking show came across this cookies,noted down and made it yesterday evening.I must say this ,when my cookies was cooling my toddler son took a fork and made impressions on them,can you see it,naughty boy.
Ingredients:
- Flour- 4 tbsp
- Powdered sugar-6 tbsp
- Custard powder- 2 tbsp(vanilla flavoured)
- Vegetable shortening-6 tbsp
- Baking powder- 1\2 tsp
- Kesar essence- a drop(i didn't use)
Method:
1.In a mixing bowl first add the vegetable shortening.Then add all the ingredients and mix well.
2.Make small balls of it and place it on a greased baking plate .Just press it.
3.Bake it in a pre heated oven for 10-12 mins at 280 deg C.
4.Cool it completely and enjoy.
Note:
1.If you prefer you can add some nuts to it.
2.The original calls for some kesar essence ,i didn't add it as i don't have it.
