Bread Bhaji / Bread Pakora | Easy Snack Recipe


Wandering what to do for kids when they return home in evening ,like me, then try this easy bread bhaji if you are left with some bread pieces.My kids love bhaji lots so they liked this too.I just shallow fried them if u prefer you can go for deep fry.

Cooking time: under 15 mins

Ingredients:


  • Bread slices-3 r 4
  • Gram flour/kadalai mavooo-1\2 cup
  • Rice flour-3 tbsp
  • Ginger powder-1\2 tsp(see notes)
  • Red chilly powder-1\2 tsp
  • cooking soda-1\4 tsp
  • Hing powder-1\2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil-to fry

Method:

1.In a bowl add besan flour,rice flour,chilly powder,hing ,garlic powder,cooking soda and salt.add water little by little and make a thick batter.

2.Cut in the bread pieces in triangle shape.(you even trim out the edges of the bread,but i used it along).

3.Heat oil in a flat pan.Dip each piece in the batter and shallow fry them in the hot oil on both side.Do the same for all bread pieces.



Serve hot with ketchup.


Note:

1.Since i had garlic powder i used it u can omit it if u don't have.

2.Can add some jeera or ajwan  seeds to the batter(help in easy digestion).

3.You can deep fry then too.

4.This is just simple bhaji you can go with potato stuffed bhajji ,paneer stuffed,etc.
