Oats strawberry banana smoothie is one best breakfast drink which has the goodness of oats, milk, fruit(berry)and banana.For people who wish to start the day with a healthy low GI food, this oat comes in handy.Since strawberries are in season and we get it at a low price I have used it else you can opt for other fruits or simply add some almonds, dates and make this smoothie.
For people looking for vegan option substitute milk with either soy or almond milk.For diabetic person skip the sugar and use dates or little raw honey.

Serves: 1
Ingredients:
- Milk- 1cup ( boiled and cooled)
- Oats- 1 tbsp ( I used Horlicks instant oats)
- Strawberries-4 or 5
- Banana-1
- Sugar- to taste
Method:
1.Dry roast oats for a minute without burning it.Cool it.
2.In a mixer add chopped banana, hulled and chopped strawberry, milk, oats & sugar.Blend it well.
3.Pour into glass and serve immediately.
A healthy smoothie is ready.
Notes:
1.For vegan option use almond or soy milk.
2.You can add some nuts while blending.
3.Can avoid sugar and use any natural sweetener.
