Naan Recipe | Stove Top Method


Naan is usually loved by everyone that too with paneer butter masala means Oh! no words awesome.Making it is very easy here i have made it in gas you can also make it in oven.



Ingredients:

  • all purpose flour/maida-1 cup + to dust
  • Instant yeast- 1 tsp
  • salt -1\2 tsp
  • warm water
  • Butter -to brush on top (i used olive oil)





Method:

1.Add flour,yeast and salt to a mixing bowl and mix well first.Then slowly add water and make a sticky dough.Keep it in an oiled vessel for it to double.

2.After it had double punch down the air bubble and make 5 equal balls.Dust flour in the rolling board and roll each ball to irregular shape.


3.Heat a tawa and cook each of it by applying butter in it till you see brown spots.Flip and cook the other side.Do it for all dough balls.

Serve hot with your favourite side dish.


.Variation:

1.you can add chopped coriander/cilantro  or garlic on top while rolling and make cilantro or garlic naan.
