Soya chunk/ Meal maker cutlet is very easy to make and can be made quickly.I had a pack of meal maker lying on my fridge for a long time actually i bought to make some gravy or briyani with this but it was lying down at last decided to make cutlet to give to kids when they come tried from school. and i made it yesterday evening for tea time snack we all loved it.

Soya chunk cutlet

Ingredients
  •     Soya chunk/ Meal maker - 200gms
  •     Boiled potato big -1
  •     Onion -1
  •     Green chillies -2
  •     Ginger chopped - 1 tsp
  •     Chat masala- 1 tsp
  •     Turmeric powder - 1\2 tsp
  •     Bread crumbs - as needed
  •     Oil -3 tbsp
  •     salt- to  taste
  •     jeera- 1 tsp
  •      corn flour- 3 tbsp
  •     Coriander/cilantro leaves- little
   


Method:

1.Pressure cook soya chunk/mealmaker for a whistle.Drain it after steam release and wash well in water and squeeze excess water.If needed grind it in the pulse mode of ur mixie once .

2.Heat a oil in a pan/wok,add  jeera followed by chopped green chilies, ginger and sliced onions and saute for a while.

3.Then add boiled mashed potatoes and cooked soya chunks to it and mix well.

4.Add t.powder, chat masala and salt and mix,saute till it become thick to make balls and switch off.

5.Mix corn flour in little water and keep ready.Take a ball dip in cornflour mix and flatten it on bread crumbs and keep aside,do the same for all balls.

6.Heat oil in tawa,add the flatten balls and cook on both sides.


Serve hot with tomato ketchup or mint chutney.
