In our house if i make chapati i have to make another side dish for it my daughter won't eat which the gravy that is left out in afternoon,i will manage anything,that too if i make the same side dish she won't like.I make different dish every time i make chapati,i love to make,chicken sausage she likes the most.
Coming to the recipe this is quite easy to make,think many know to make let it be useful for the beginners.
Ingredients:
(P.time- under 30 mins,serves-3)
- Gobi/cauliflower- 1\2 flower
- Fresh green peas-1\2 cup
- Onion-1
- Tomato-1
- Ginger garlic paste-1 tsp
- Red kashmiri chilli powder- 1 r 2 tsp
- Garam masala- 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder- 1\2 tsp
- Coriander /Dhaniya powder- 1 tsp
- jeera- 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil- 1 tbsp
Method:
1.Carefully cut the florets of gobi and keep it hot water to remove the germs from it.
2.Meanwhile cut everything and keep ready.
3.Heat oil in a kadai,add jeera,follwed by onion and saute for a while.
4.Then add ginger garlic paste saute,add tomato and mix till everything mixes up.
5.Then add all masala powders,salt,gobi,green peas and mix for a while.
6.Add some water for the veggies to get cook.
7.When it thicken up remove from fire and serve with roti/chapati
Note:
1.To make it more rich you can gring some cashew/kaju with milk and to it.
2.You can use frozen peas too.
Best sidedish for chapatis..Looks so delicious.... :)
