Badam Burfi is one of the burfi which is quite easy to make,i always prefer sweet items than savoury but my daughter is just opposite to me.When ever I carve to eat something sweeter I make something, this is the one just like that, try it I am sure you will love it.Does it need any festival to make sweets?
Ingredients:
- Badam/almond- 1 cup
- Sugar- 3\4 to 1 cup
- Water- 1\2 cup
- Ghee- 1 to 2 tbsp.
Method:
1.Soak almond in hot water for 1\2 hrs and remove the outer skin.
2.Spread the nut in a towel and pat dry well.
3.Grind it in ur mixer to a powder form.
4.Add sugar & water in a wide pan and stir to make one string sugar consistency.
5.Then add the powdered almond to it and keep on mixing well,if needed add 1 tbsp. ghee.Keep a greased plate ready.
5.When the mix leaves the side of the pan and form like a mass switch off & transfer it on the greased plate.
7.Spread it with the wooden spatula & allow to cool. When it is still hot make pieces with ghee greased knife.
Enjoy the sweet. It is soo soft just melts in mouth.
