I don't know whats the english name for thinai,i googled and in some its given as quinao and in some as fox millet,any way we know what its thinnai in tamil,.The dosa was so crispy and tasted very good.Try and change to healthier version of dosa.

Ingredients:
1.quinao-1 cup
2.Idly rice-1 cup
3.Urad dal-1\2 cup
4.Fenugreek seeds-little.
5.Salt
Method:
1.Soak rice,quinao, dal&fenugreek in water separately for 3 hrs.
2. Grind dal with methi seeds and then add quinao and rice.
3.Grind well and tranfer to a vessel.Add salt and let it ferment overnight or for 8 hrs.
4. Heat a tawa take a scoop of batter and spread it,apply oil on sides,cook on both side.
5.Serve hot with any chutney.
we had it with green chutney.
We can make idli too with it.
