Kambu is a healthy cereals which has been forgotten now-a- days,i use to make kambu dosa.This cereal has many health benefits like gluten free food,reducing cholesterol,weight loss and more.Do try and change to healthy cereals.I tried this from Vikis kitchen.
Ingredients:
1.Kambu/Pearl millet- 1cup
2.Raw rice-1 cup
3.Jaggery-1 cup(acc. to ur taste)
4.Grated coconut.
Method:
1.Dry roast kambu in a pan until a nice aroma come,do the same for rice too.
2.Make jaggery syrup.
3.Cool the cereals and powder it in blender not to fine.
4.Transfer it to bowl add jaggery syrup little by little &grated coconut until it form a consistency to make balls.
5.Steam ur idli cooker make balls of the dough and place on cooker and steam still done.
It was tasty,we had it as evening snack.
