Fish Masala is nothing but where the fish is first slightly fried then a thick masala from fried spices is made in which the fried fish is added to absorb the flavors. For the first time We tried it in December and it was a super it and since then we had made it thrice. For this recipe I searched google and gathered ideas to make it.Actually the thought to make this would not have happened if my father had not asked, yes it my dad who asked for the masala and we (together with my husband) searched and prepared it.The ingredients may look bit lengthy but all things are sure in your pantry. When you get some good fleshy fish do try to make this once and I assure you will make it again and again.

Kai murukku | Diwali snack
Kai murukku with step by step pictures.
I have never realized that I would make this kai murukku in my life. Thanks to this blogging world which makes the impossible possible. Already I have posted kai murukku in my blog long back but in it I soaked rice, wet ground it and prepared the murukku. But here I powered the rice and make the dough. Here is the link to it. Also I that previous one I used fried gram dal powder whereas here I have used urad dal powder. You can use either of them. The only thing to have in mind is to make a crack-free smooth dough.

Sathu mavoo karupati pidi kozhukattai | Health mix palm jaggery kozhukatai
Sathu mavoo pidi kozhukatai with step by step pictures.
For this festival season try this healthy pidi kozhukatai in alternative to your regular one. You can use either homemade sathu mavoo or store brought. Here I used store brought flour. It just takes nearly 10-15 mins to make this recipe. Dry roast the flour then make a dough with palm jaggery syrup. Make it into the desired shape and steam it.
