Wheat flour sweet pidi kozhukattai is a simple to make easy kozhukatti. Unlike pooran kozhukattai where we have to make outer dough , inner stuffing , make the outer dough into a shape , fill with the proan and steam, here just mix all the ingredients make into shape and steam it. We can make this with any flour, ,millet, rice flour, etc.

Ingredients:


Wheat Flour- 1 cup
Jaggery-1/2 cup
Dry ginger powder-1/2 tsp
Grated coconut- 1 tbsp
Ghee-1 tsp

1. Melt jaggery.



2. In a bowl add wheat flour, ginger powder, coconut. filter and add the jaggery syrup.



3. Mix it well to make a non sticky dough. Adjust with wheat flour if jaggery syrup is more. Lastly add ghee and smear it well.


4. Take a big lemon sized ball of the mix and make thumb impression as shown.

5. Steam it for 8-10 mins till it becomes glossy.


Tasty pidi kozhukattai is ready.
