Easy instant, healthy idli with oats.When you don't any batter in the refrigerator make this idli and enjoy.It is somewhat similar to rava idli except for the addition of roasted oats flour.

- Oats- 1 cup(i used Quaker oats)
- Rava/sooji/Samba rava-1\2 cup
- cooking soda or fruit salt- 1\2 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil
- mustard
- green chili
- grated carrot

1.Dry roast oats until a nice aroma come be careful not to burn it.
2.Cool and powder it(not needed to be a fine powder).

3.Heat oil in pan, saute carrot, fresh peas for a while. THen add sooji/ rava and roast it well.Cool it down.
4.Mix powdered oats to sooji mix.Add curd & water and make a pourable consistency.Keep it aside for some time.When about to make if thick dilute it and add fruit salt.
5.Pour the batter into greased idli plate and steam it.
Serve hot with your favorite chutney.
Note:
1..You can add veggies of your choice.
2.Instead of fruit salt, you can use cooking soda also.
