Red capsicum chutney with step by step pictures.
An easy side dish for idli/ dosa which is less spicy and tasty.I have not used coconut in this recipe but if you prefer you can add some coconut.The color was so attractive appealing and tempting.
Making this chutney is so easy, just saute the ingredients in oil, cool and grind it to a fine paste with little water.I have not tempered the chutney and it's up to your wish regarding tempering.

- Red bell pepper-1
- Onion-1
- Tomato-1
- Red chilly-3
- Garlic pods-2
- Oil-2 Tsp
- Salt to taste
Method:
1.Heat a tsp of oil and saute chopped onion & tomato in it.Transfer to a mixer.
2.Add another tsp oil.Add chopped bell pepper and saute it for 1-2 minutes.Cool it.
3.Transfer to the mixer.Add red chilly, garlic, salt and grind it to a fine paste with little water.
Tasty red capsicum chutney is ready to be served with idli/dosa.
Notes:
1.Adjust red chilly.
2.You can also add some coconut to make this chutney.
3.Tempering is purely optional.
