We mostly take chicken and some times beef on Sunday while this mutton/lamb will peep in our menu on some rare days. Last week when it was my son's birthday i prepared this mutton curry to pair it with appam and idiyappam, Oh ! what a combination.do try and I'm sure you will love this heavenly combo.

1.Add spice powder according to ur taste buds.
2.You can add 1 r 2 potatoes (peeled &cubed) in it.

Ingredients:
- Mutton/Lamb- 1 kg
- Onion ,finely chopped-5
- Green chilly-2 ,slited
- Tomato - 4 ,chopped
- Ginger garlic paste-2 tsp
- Red chilly powder-2 tsp
- coriander powder-2 tsp
- Turmeric powdr-1\2 tsp
- Garam masala-1\2 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Coriander leaves- to garnish
- Oil-5 tsp
- Whole spices-cardamon,cinnamon,clove and bay leaf
Method:
1.Clean the mutton pieces well in water.Add a tsp of ginger garlic paste and 1\4 tsp of turmeric powder,mix well.Pressure cook it for 3-4 whistle and keep ready.Don't drain the stock.
2.Heat oil in thick bottom pan,add in whole spices first followed by chopped onions & green chilly.Saute till it becomes translucent.then add in a tsp of ginger garlic paste and saute till raw smell vanishes.
3.Then add all dry powders and mix well.Drop in chopped tomato and cook till it becomes juicy.Then add the cooked meat along with the stock.Check for salt and spice,add if needed.
4.Cover and cook till everything blends well.Add coriander leaves mix and switch off.
Garnish with coriander again and serve with rice,roti,appam or idyiappam.
