Dates in one with more iron content. Anemic people and pregnant women must eat this daily. But it is very difficult to make my toddler son eat it. I decided to search for any method of making him have this fruit and landed in swathi 's place where she had a method of making syrup using it. I made it, added to my son's milk and he just loved it.

Ingredients:
- Seedless dates- 1 cup
- Hot boiling water- 1 cup
Method:
1.Soak the dates in hot boiling water for more than 2 hours.
2. Smash it well and filter it through a muslin cloth. Add some more hot water through the pulp and squeeze it.
3.Keep this water in flame and bring to boil,stir continuously to avoid burning at the bottom.
4.Boil till it becomes thick consistency, similar to honey.
5.cool well and store in bottle.
Add this to the children milk and give this natural iron.
Note:
1. Did not know about the shelf life, so better keep in the fridge.

Deletei didn't throw the main content outside,i have kept it in fridge,decided to use it in dates cake.
That dates syrup is finger licking good Babi. Nice Simple Recipe. Can use it for desserts and also for simple breakfast. Good one.
