Ragi -Wheat Chocolate Waffles | Eggless Waffles


I was aiming to buy a waffle makers for my kids when i was planning about it swetha of Merry Tummy came with an anniversary giveaway .Do you know the waffle maker was the prize so i decided to give a try in the event and i won it.You can check the round up and event announcement here.

Ingredients:
  • Whear flour-3\4 cup
  • Ragi flour-1\4 cup
  • Cocoa powder-2 tbsp
  • Sugar-1\2 cup(adjust)
  • milk powder-2 tbsp
  • oil/melted butter-3 tbsp(i used olive oil)
  • baking powder-1\2 tsp
  • Vanilla essence -1 tsp
  • Water-as needed


Method:

1.In a mixing bowl add all the dry ingredients and mix well.Slowly add in water and mix well without any lumps.
2.Lastly add oil/melted butter and vanilla extract and mix well.

3.Pre heat the waffle iron till smoky.Brush some butter in the maker and add the batter in it.Close and cook.In just 4-8 mins your waffles is ready(you will get a nice aroma when its baking).


Remove from it and serve with your favourite topping.

This is the second waffle i made with it.

First one was plain waffle



In this i didnot add ragi & cocoa powder.

  7. I love waffles and they really look so yummy. What a super easy and truly delish dish!   I made this last night with ragi flour , sticking pretty close to your instructions w. It turned out delicious and made a good presentation. I’ll be repeating this one for sure. Thank you so much for this recipe!
