Bajji- Bonda mix with step by step pictures.
When it comes for evening snack many prefer deep fried snacks and me too not an exception. I make methu vada if I have sambar left out from morning breakfast. Else I opt for bajji, masala vada, etc. To make perfect bajji the mix is very much important. The correct amount of rice flour with besan flour gives a perfect crispy Bajji or bonda. By using this mix you can any bajji or bonda.

Makes: a bottle of 200gms
Ingredients:
Besan flour/ kadalai mavoo- 1 cup
Rice flour- 1/4 cup
Red chilli powder- 1 tbsp
Hing powder- 1 tsp
Baking soda- 1 tsp
Sukku powder/ginger powder-1/2 tsp (optional)( for easy digestion)
Salt - to taste ( else you can add when making bonda/bajji)
Method:
1. Take all the ingredients.
2. Add all of it a bowl and mix it well. ( alternatively, you can also sieve it).
3. Store in an airtight clean container.
To make bonda/bajji:
Make a semi thick paste of it with water. Check and add salt. Dip the desired vegetable in it and deep fry in hot oil.
