Making ice cream at home is so easy. With a few ingredients easily available at home you can make yummy lip smacking at home. Make a batch of plain ice cream and add essence, fruits into it and make varieties.
This mint ice cream doesn't need any fancy ingredients like whipped/whipping cream, condensed milk, etc. I have just used fresh mint leaves and essence which is optional.

Ingredients:
- Milk- 3 cups ( I used full cream milk)
- Fresh mint leaves-hand full
- Sugar- 1\2 cup +2 tbsp
- Corn flour-2 tbsp
- Mint essence-1 tsp(optional)
- Green food color-1\4 tsp( optional)
- Choco chips-1\3 cup
Method:
1.Clean mint leaves. Add it to a mixer along with 2 tbsp of sugar and grind it.
2. Boil milk. Add the ground mint paste and allow the flavors to induce into the milk. Switch off and keep for a while.
3. Strain the mint-milk through a strainer and press the husk well to extract maximum juice from it.
4. Add corn flour to a bowl and make a paste by adding some milk.
5. Keep the mint-milk in flame. Add in essence, cornflour mix, sugar and keep stirring.
6. Continue stirring till the milk mix coats the backside of the spoon. Switch off.
Allow it to cool.
7. Pour into a freezer box and freeze for 2-3 hours. Then take out and whisk it again and freeze.
8. Repeat whisking 2-3 times in order to break any ice crystals formed. When doing the last time add choco chips, fold it and freeze.
9. When set, scoop out and serve immediately.
this is a yummy combo of mint and choco chips and the ice cream looks perfect :)
