Healthy veppam poo pachadi.As the Tamil new year is on April 14th I decided to share this pachadi recipe which has all tastes in it.I made mango pachadi and added ghee roasted neem flower in it.I adapted this recipe from kamala's corner.
Sour& tangy-mango
Sweet-jaggery
bitter-neem flower
Spicy-Red chilly
Ingredients:
- Mango-1 (cubed )
- Oil-1 Tsp
- Mustard-1\2 tsp
- Red chilly-1 Tsp
- Jaggery-1\2 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Neem flower-2 tsp ( fresh or dried)
- Ghee-1 Tsp
Method:
1.Heat oil in a pan, crack mustard seeds.
2.Add cubed mango pieces, saute.Add little water and cook it.
3.Add red chilly powder, salt, and jaggery.
4.When it gets thicken switch off.
5.Heat another pan with ghee.Add neem flower and saute.Add it to the prepared mango pachadi.
Veepam poo/ Neem flower pachadi is ready.
