Pumpkin pepper soup with step by step pictures. When it is cold outside we all feel to have something hot.Here the climate in Chennai has changed a lot from how sunny days to rainy day and cold nights.For past eight days it was a rain holiday for school and I was so happy to get up lesuirely at morning.Kids at home always want hot,hot dishes for all three times a day and I to enjoyed making different recipe and relishing it hot.
This pumpkin soup was on such recipe we had for dinner.Since I made it in little quntity we toasted bread and ate along with.But you can have this soup alone for dinner.

Ingredients:
- Pumpkin cubes-1 cup
- Onion-1,small sized
- Garlic cloves-3
- Whole pepper-1 tbsp
- Olive oil-2 tsp
- Bay leaf-1
- Salt- to taste
- Water-2 to 3 cups
1.Peel the skin and inner seed part of the pumpkin.Clean and cut into cubes.Cut onion also.
2.Heat oil in a pressure cooker.Add bay leaf,pepper followed by onion,garlic and saute for a while.
3.Then add the cubed pumpkin and saute for some time till it get carmelised in sides.
4.Add in water and salt.Cover and cook for 4-5 whislte.
5.After the stea is released drain and discard the bay leaf.Keep the water.
6.Transfer the cooked pumpkin to a mixer and blend it well.Add the reserved water and dilute it.
7.Pour in to serving bowls and serve hot.
Healthy and a yummy soup.
