Kofta is nothing but fried pakora balls. One can make these deep fried balls with any vegetable. Just mix the grated or finely chopped vegetable with spices ,flours and deep fried them .You can serve it as such for tea time snack.Lets us see how to make this

For Kofta:

Method:
1.In a mixing bowl add except oil everything listed under "kofta" and mix.Slowly add water and a dough.
2.Heat oil in a pan ,make small balls of the dough and deep fry them.Now your kofta/pakora is ready.
3.Grind onion,garlic and ginger to a paste.Make a puree with tomato and keep ready.
4.Heat oil a pan add saunf and the onion mix and saute till raw smell goes.Then add tomato puree and saute for a while followed by all dried powders and salt.
5.Add some water and cook till oil seperates.Lastly add cream/milk and wait for a minute & switch off.
While serving add in fried kofta in to the gravy garnish with coriander and serve.
Note:
1.Can serve the pakora/kofta as such for tea time snacks.
2.Since i fried the kofta more so it looks dark brown.

- Gram flour/kadalai mavoo-1\2 cup
- Red chilly powder-1 tsp(adjust)
- Jeera or ajwam seeds-1\2 tsp
- Turmeric powder-1\4 tsp
- Salt to taste

- Ginger-1\2 inch piece
- Garlic pods-5
- Tomato-1 big(make puree)
- Red chilly powder-1 tsp
- coriander powder-3\4 tsp
- Turmeric powder-1\4 tsp
- Garam masala-1\2 tsp
- Fresh cream-1 tbsp(optional)(i used milk)
- Oil-3 tsp
- saunf-1\2 tsp
- salt to taste
- Coriander leaves- garnish
