Simple and easy fish thokku.Here I have used anchovies fish but you can use any fish variety.Since my kids don't like that small fillets in this fish I removed it all but you can use it together.

Ingredients:
- Fish-1\2 kg
- Oil-2 Tsp
- Mustard seeds-1\2 tsp
- Methi seeds-1\2 tsp
- Onion-1, chopped
- Green chilly-1
- Garlic pods-3
- Tomato-1
- Curry leaves
- REd chilly powder-2 Tsp
- Coriander powder-2 Tsp
- Turmeric powder-1\2 tsp
- Tamarind-small berry size
- Salt to taste
Method:
1.Heat oil in an earthenware.Add mustard and methi seeds.
2.Add onion.green chilly, garlic and curry leaves.Saute it well.
3.Add tomato and saute for a while.Then add all dry masala powder.
4.Add the tamarind juice, water, salt.Check for spice & salt and add accordingly.
5.When it starts to boil and the cleaned fish.don't mix after adding fish as it will break.
6.Cook on low flame for about 10 mins till it becomes semi thick.
Serve for hot steamed rice with some side dish or papad.

yummy and lip smacking thokku.. Can have an extra helping of rice with this :)
