If you have been to Marina Beach you would have seen many selling this sundal variety mostly people buy this and enjoy it in beach hence the name beach sundal.
Ingredients:
Method:
1.Soak white peas overnight or about 8 hrs.
2.Next day drain water and wash with fresh water.Add salt &enough water ,pressure cook it for 2 whistles.After the pressure is released drain water and keep ready.
3.Take ginger,green chilly and grated coconut in a mixer and make just a coarse paste of it.(don't add water).
4.Heat oil in a pan pop out mustard seeds,then add ground coconut mix .curry leaves and saute for a while.then add cooked peas and mix well.check for salt and add if needed.
5.Lastly add grated mango and just saute it and switch off.Squeeze lemon juice and mix well.
Tasty beach sundal is ready to be served.
Note:
1.You can use green peas variety also.
2.You can either chop or grate mango.

- Grated mango-1\4 cup
- Salt to taste
