Quinoa murukku with step by step picture.
Healthy muruku / chakli with quinoa flour, rice flour and roasted dal ( potukadalai) flour.I bought this quinoa flour along with my whole grain quinoa from Amazon.I tried quinoa curd rice with the grain but this flour was just sitting in my pantry waiting to get noticed.Though I made pancakes with it a day I didn't click to write about it.So this murukku makes the first recipe to blog about it.Hope I will try more recipe with this flour and blog about it.

Ingredients:
Method:
1.Powder pottukadai in a mixer.
2.In a mixing bowl add all ingredients from quinoa flour to salt.Mix it well.
Then slowly add water and make a soft pliable dough.
3.To the oil greased muruku presser fill in the dough and press it over hot oil.
4.Fry it well till the hissing sound vanishes.Drain it.Do the same for all dough.
5.Cool and store it in an airtight container.
Serve for evening tea/coffee.
Notes:
1. Fry them in hot oil over medium-high flame.
2.If dough becomes loose add rice flour and adjust it.
3.Cover the unpressed dough to prevent from drying.

- Quinoa flour-1\2 cup
- Rice flour/ idiyappam flour-1\2 cup
- Roasted gram dal flour-1\3 cup
- Black sesame seeds-1 tsp
- Ghee/butter- 1 tbsp
- Hing/asafoetida powder-1 Tsp
- Red chilly powder-1\2 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil to deep fry
