Homemade Pineapple Jam | Pectin Free Jam

Hope you all had a great Christmas and new year celebration we had a great time at our native and i am not in mood to blog.Another main reason for not blogging is since my daughter's board exams are fast approaching i have to guide her,sit beside her  and so friends please pardon me  as i may not reply/ comment in blog post.Do pray for her and lets go off to the recipe.As pineapple's are in season now i decided to make a jam of it.It was super easy,tasty and cost less.Do try.

Preparation time: 5 mins
Cooking time:under 15 mins
Yields: a small bottle

Ingredients:


  • Fresh Pineapple puree-1\2 cup
  • sugar-1\4 cup( adjust)
  • yellow food colour-a pinch (optional)
  • Lemon juice-1\4 tsp
  • Pineapple essence-1\4 tsp(optional)( i didn't use)



Method:

1.Blend the pieces in the mixer and measure it.

2.In a thick bottom pan add sugar and 1\4 cup water.Mix well.Cook in low flame.Add the pineapple puree along with a pinch of colour.


3.Keep stirring till it becomes semi thick thick.Add essence (if adding )and switch off.

4.Lastly add lemon juice and mix well.Cool it completely and store in clean dried bottle.


Tasty Jam is ready in minutes.



This jam can be stay ion room temperature for 2 weeks and it want to keep it for long then refrigerate it.
