Wheat thattai is a crispy deep-fried snack recipe. We can usually make thattai with rice flour but here I have made it with wheat flour. To get a crispy thatai one needs to roll it very thin else you will get a soggy thattai. Let us see how to make this.Preparation time: 10 mins

Ingredients:
wheat flour-1 cup rice flour-1/3 cup red chili powder-1/2 tsp soaked channa dal-2tsp curry leaves salt oilMethod:
1. Dry roast atta/wheat flour for a minute and cool it. 2. Soak channa dal in water for an hour. 3. To the wheat flour add rice flour, channa dal, hing, curry leaves, salt, hot oil and mix. 4.slowly add water and make a soft pliable dough.
5. Make lemon sized balls and roll each ball into very thin. prick with a fork to avoid puffing up when frying.
6. Deep from them well.
Crispy thattai is ready
