Toor dal dosa | Easy breakfast/ dinner recipe


Toor dal dosa with step by step pictures.

Toor dal dosa is a quick dosa variety that can be made for breakfast or dinner. This dosa can be made without fermentation. I have already posted a masoor dal recipe with a video. If you want you can check it here.

Preparation time: 2 hours ( soaking time)

Ingredients:

Raw rice:1 cup
Boiled rice-1 cup
Toor dal-1 cup
Methi seeds-1 tsp
Salt
Red chilly-3
Ginger-  1inch piece
Salt
Hing powder- 1/2 tsp
Oil- to make dosa.


Method:

1. Clean and soak dal, both rice, methi for 2 hours.


 2. Grind it with red chilly- ginger in a mixer. Add salt and mix well.



3. You can make dosa immediately or ferment and make. Add hing powder just before making dosa. On hot tawa spread a ladle of batter. Flip and cook the other side.




Serve hot with chutney or sambar.
