Nei appam /unniappam with step by step pictures.
Nei appam alias Unni appam is a Kerala's delicacies. Usually, the rice is soaked, ground and the appam is made. But nowadays many make it in many different ways. Even I make this appam with wheat flour, banana, and sweetener. I want to make the authentic appam and tried it this week for an evening snack. Since this batter no need for fermentation I soaked in afternoon, ground and made it in the evening. As the name says they use ghee alone to make it but here I have a mix of both ghee and oil.
