Here I am with an easy dessert to celebrate this day, caramel bread pudding.
This dessert is so easy to make, just blend it together in a mixer/blender pour it over caramel-coated pan bake or steam it.
Here while making caramel I slightly burnt ut and hence the dark color.So please be careful while making it.
Preparation time: 10 mins
Steaming time:30-40 mins

Ingredients:
- Bread slices-2
- Egg-2
- Milk-1 cup( boiled &cooled)
- Sugar-3\4 cup
- Vanilla essence-1 tbsp
For caramel:
- Sugar-2 Tsp
- Butter-1 tbsp
Method:
1.In a blender add bread slice, eggs, milk, sugar, essence and blend it well till everything is mix up well.
2.Grease a baking pan with butter well.Sprinkle sugar and heat it till it changes color and becomes like caramel.
3.Pour the blended mixture over it.
4.Steam it in a steamer till cooked.Cool a bit and keep it refrigerated.
5.Run a knife around the side of the pan and invert it over a plate. Cut and serve.
Note:
1.You can also bake it in an oven.
For how long need to steam.. please mention the time. Thanks
ReplyDeleteSteam it for 30 mins, check by inserting a knife if it comes out clear its done else steam it again for 10-20 mins.
