When its weekend or day post festivalwe all feel lazy to get up and do our daily chores.Doing breakfast becomes a tough job as we get curled up under the bedsheet and not willing to get up.In that times if you have a packet of bread in your pantry, breakfast doesn't seem a tough job.With just few minutes you can prepare this yummy and healthy dish with lots of vegetables.Use vegetables of your choice.
Preparation time: 5mins
Cooking time: 15 mins
Ingredients:
- Brown bread slices
- Oil-2 tsp
- Jeera-1 tsp
- Onion-1,chopped
- Ginger,finely chopped-1\2 tsp
- green chilly-1,chopped
- Garlic minced-1\2 tsp
- Tomato-1,chopped
- Red chilly powder-1\2 tsp
- Turmeric powder-1\4 tsp
- Garam masala-1\4 tsp
- Mixed vegetables- 1 cup( I used carrot,cabbage&beans)
- Salt to taste
Method:
1.Chop vegetable finely.
2.Heat oil in a pan ,add jeera and wait for it to splutter.Add in chopped onion,chilly,ginger,garlic and saute till raw smell of ginger garlic goes off.
3.Add in chopped tomato and wait for it to becomes mushy.Then add in chopped vegetables and saute.
4.Add in all spice powder and salt.Sprinkle little water and wait for the veggies to cook.When done switch off.
5.Heat a tawa and roast the bread on it.To the toasted bread spread some masala prepared over it.
6.Cut it diagonally and serve for breakfast.
Notes:
1.You can use any bread variety.
2.Grate the carrot and use as it will get sticked well with bread.
3.Use veggies of your choice.
