Today recipe is a very simple smoothie/shake with yogurt and strawberries.As I said in my previous post, strawberry preserve, as i want to make use of strawberry to the maximum I tried this yesterday for a drink after my breakfast.Its was yummy and filling and I didnot felt hungry to have my lunch.Its best to give kids when they are in a hurry during morning or for those who always skip their breakfast.
Preparation time: 2 mins
Makes: a big glass
Ingredients:
- Strawberries-5-6
- unflavored yogurt-1\2 cup
- milk-1\3 cup
- sugar/honey-2 tsp 9adjust)
- vanilla essence-1 tsp
Method;
1.Clean ,hull and chop the berries.Add everything to a mixer/blender and blend it well.
2.Pour into serving glass and serve immediately.
notes:
1.Depending on the sweetness of the strawberries add sugar or honey.
2.You can add some ice cubes and serve chilled.But i don't prefer ice cubes.
3.Use unsoured fresh yogurt/curd.
