Its had been quite a long time since I baked some cookies. This time I made up my mind to bake only oats and decided to work with it last week.In this I have not used any butter or shortenings instead I used oil for fat.Oats & raisins in it make cookie soft and chewy.
Preparation time: 5 mins
Baking time: 12-15 mins
Makes: around 10 cookies
Ingredients:
- Oats-1\2 cup ( i used saffola oats)
- Wheat flour-1\2 cup( i used Aashirvad atta)
- Granulated sugar-1\3 cup ( measure & then just powder it in the mixer)
- oil-4 tbsp
- baking powder-1\2 tsp
- cinnamon powder-1\4 tsp
- raisins-1\4 cup
- Tutti fruity-2 tsp
- milk or water- 1 or 2 tbsp
Method:
1.In a mixing bowl add everything except milk/water and mix well.Slowly add water/milk and form a dough of it.
2.Make balls of it flatten it lightly .Place it in the baking tray.
3,Bake it in a pre heated oven for 12-15 mins at180 deg C till it browns slightly at edges.
4.cool and store.
Notes:
1.If you are allergic to atta flour then use maida/all purpose flour.
2.Instead of white sugar you can use brown sugar.
3/Here i have used the oats as such but you can lightly powder it and make.
4.Baking time vary from oven to oven.
