Yet another easy cookies to make ,i bought choc chips a month before & did not do anything with it,my daughter was insisting to do cookies with it many days at last i made it.Its very difficult for my toddler son to make things eat,once he get the taste of it,then alone he eat anything ,this too the same way,after knowing the taste he finished it off.Sure kids will love it.
Ingredients
- All purpose flour- 1 cup
- Atta/wheat flour- 1\4 cup
- Powdered sugar- 1 cup
- Oil/butter- 1\2 cup
- Milk-little
- choc chips- 1\4 cup
- Baking powder- 1 tsp
- Yogurt- 1\4 cup
- Vanilla essence- 1 \2 tsp
- Salt a pinch
Method:
1.Mix flour,atta,baking powder,salt well or sieve it.
2.In a mixing bowl add powder sugar,oil,yogurt and mix well,then add the flour mix,vanilla essence & choco chips to it and need to get a soft dough.
3.If needed add little milk while kneading,the dough should be non sticky.
4.Take small portion of it,roll it on rolling pin,cut it with cookie cutter,meanwhile pre-heat your oven.
5.Arrange the cookies on the butter paper spread on the cookies tray and bake it at 180 deg C for 15- 20 min.
6.Check it after 15 min,the correct stage is in centre it should be soft and in ends dark,remove and cool completely,as it cool it will become hard.
7.Do the same for all batch.
Serve with coffee/tea in evening.Store in airtight container.
Note:
For chocolate version,mix cocoa powder in the dry ingrediant and do the same.
