Pineapple Flavored Kesari With sugar Substitute | Sweet with Sugar free | Diabetic Friendly Recipe

Kesari is one of the easiest dessert which can be easily prepared in jiffy.Whenever I carve for any sweet I just simply make this and relish. This is diabetic friendly recipe since I have replaced white sugar with sugar substitute. While using sugar substitute use for powdered one while making desserts and don't use tablet form substitute as it may give a bitter taste in dessert.
cooking time: 10 mins
Ingredients:

  • Rava /sooji-1\2 cup
  • Sugar substitute-1\3 cup
  • ghee- 2 tbsp
  • cashew-few
  • yellow food colour-a pinch( i used turmeric powder)
  • cardamon powder-1\4 tsp
  • pineapple essence-1 tsp
  • Water-1 cup

Method:

1.Heat 2 tsp of ghee and fry the cashew nut in it .Set it aside.

2.In that same pan roast the rava well.keep aside.

3.Boil water with food colour. When it boils slowly add the roasted rava and stir continuously. When it is cooked add the sugar substitute and some ghee .Stir continuously.

4.When the sugar is all absorbed add  cardamon powder &essence.

5.Lastly add the roasted nuts ,mix and switch off.
