It had been a long time since I made tikka at home.The last one I made was this paneer tikka which was more than a year ago.Last month end was my daughter's birthday and I made it again this tikka but this time I made it on stove top.My son enjoyed it a lot and asked me to make it frequent.Last Sunday I planned to make it to fulfill their wish with chicken.It very easy to make these tikka at home with very few ingredients.

I already have this horsegram idli recipe in my space which I tried from another blog during my early stage of blogging. The difference between this from that is here urad dal is used, whereas in that recipe dal is not used. As dal is used here you couldn't find any difference from regular idli and I was so satisfied to have fed my family with another healthy idli recipe.

Ragi/ finger millet is one for the healthiest millet which is very suitable for this summer season. Since it cools our body temperature one should have this millet in any form during summer. I usually make many south Indian breakfast recipe with it and you can check it by searching in the search box. Paniyaram can be made with idli/dosa batter but I want to make a batter especially for this paniyaram. So I decided to try this. Just a cup of millet and 2 tbsp urad dal I used.
