Birthday Time Again- Two in a Day

As i have said earlier September means birthday month in our house and today two birthdays one my son's another my brother's daughter.

First i thought to  make jelly beans cake from glorious treat blog but the flower making didnot set as i thought ,later decided to make Funfetti cake  for my son here it is .

I have been  posting many sweet recipes  for past few days so decided to go with a savoury one today.Recently i got a new friend divya from Happy cook,i don't know about her,we are graduated from the same college & so we are friends now .But she is very much junior to me,great cook,lovely person and also we  also do from same area near nagercoil.In our area the nendran chip we get will be more tasty,yummy,etc,etc and nothing can beat it.When ever we go there for vacation we use to buy it in huge quantity.In her blog she posted this chips variety and i decided to make it.

Hope everyone must have celebrated onam,as we are from nagercoil we celebrated in a small way with few dishes and flower kollam.Kids had great time decorating kollam with flower and lighting lamps specially my daughter is more interested in these thing.Coming to the recipe ,for onam sadya i made this and it tasted awesome,try this atleast once and i am sure you will love it.

Banana Dates Halwa | Sweet Recipe with Dates

Its difficult to make my kids eat banana,i have to push them my son some how will eat but daughter won't .Lastly when i got some banana some were left out  and i don't want to make any cupcake or paniyaram,made this halwa together with dates and it was yummy.
As i like sweets more i post this on my special day today,my birthday.

As i have mentioned in my first post of this month,September means birthday month for us and the celebration starts from today,yes today my life's special man's birthday.To him i want to make different cake,while searching many goes with beet- choc cake but i don't want any chocolate and ended up with this cake.Blogging has given confident to bake cakes now i am glad about it.
