It is just 35 days to Christmas and I can't say how fast time goes as I'm still on the days of my previous Christmas celebration.Wine make an integral part of that celebration.As a blogger, I want to try different variety of it.In September when I got a pineapple I decided first to make wine with the peel of it and hence this recipe.I referred this page for my preparation. You can try this easy wine for this Christmas.

Makes: a bottle
Ingredients:
- Pineapple peel- from a pineapple *
- water- 3 cups (boiled & cooled)
- sugar- 2 & 1\2 cup
- cloves-2
- cinnamon-1 inch piece
- Dry yeast-1\4 tsp
- egg white- from an egg
Method:
1.Boil 3 cups water and allow it to cool.Wash the pineapple in outside and peel it.Use the inside pulp to make any pineapple recipes or eat it as such.Use peel to make this wine.
2.To a clean dried glass jar add in sugar,cooled water,peel, 2 pineapple pieces,cinnamon,cloves ,yeast.Mix well with a wooden spatula and keep in cool dry place.( i usually keep in inside my cupboard).
3.On 5th day add slightly beaten egg white to it and keep it again for 5-6 days.
4.Then on the 10th day filter the wine through a muslin cloth without disturbing the bottom waste.Pls don't squeeze the content in the cloth.
5.The filtered wine will be cloudy.To get a clear wine you have to keep it for another 2-3 weeks till all waste settles at the bottom.
6.With out disturbing the bottom pour the clear wine in clean dry bottle.
Enjoy the homemade pineapple peel wine with a piece of fruit cake.
